Forest D.

Forest D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, genomics, bioinformatics, and information technology. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Gencove. Prior to that, they worked as a Genomics Toolkit Lead at IBM in 2021. From 2018-2021, Forest D. was a Senior Bioinformatician and Bioinformatician at Health Canada | Santé Canada. In 2017, they worked as a Bioinformatics Programmer/Analyst at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. In 2016, Forest D. was an Information Technology Business Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. Finally, from 2013-2016, they worked as a Data Manager at the Barcode of Life Data Systems.

Forest D. completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Guelph in 2014. Forest then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Integrative Biology from the same university, which they completed in 2016.
