Greg Thompson is currently the Chief Operating Officer at GeneCapture, Inc., overseeing the design, commercialization, and medical device approvals for the company's rapid infection diagnostic product. Prior to their current role, Greg spent over 30 years at Sanmina where Greg served as the VP of Engineering, focusing on new product realization and technology productization. Before that, Greg worked as an Avionics Engineer at Honeywell, designing cockpit avionics systems for various aircraft models. Greg holds a BSEE in Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University. Since retiring from Sanmina, Greg has been supporting and guiding small businesses in product development.
