Zac McGee

Zac McGee has worked as a Research Scientist at Tec-Masters, Inc. since 2019. In this role, they have automated a sample preparation procedure for nucleic acid isolation from fungi, viruses, bacteria, and parasites that meets assay criteria and integrated it into a disposable single-use cartridge. Zac has also developed research protocols and SOPs for testing new technologies within internal document and engineering design control, as well as designed and validated molecular probes for new panels as needed. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Specialist at GeneCapture, Inc. from 2016.

Zac McGee attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2011 to 2016, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
