Markus Stepath

Markus Stepath is currently a Scientific Account-Manager and Off-Core Software Developer at Genedata since October 2022. Prior to this role, Markus served as a Data Analyst and Project Manager at InterMedCon GmbH, focusing on mHealth projects and statistical analyses of biometric data. Markus has extensive experience as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where work involved bioinformatics, data analysis, and development of user-friendly tools for biomedical applications. Markus' academic background includes a PhD in Clinical Proteomics from Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Hochschule Flensburg. Additionally, Markus held an engineering position at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, engaging in systems biology, method development, and project management in proteome analysis.
