Steven Bodovitz

Steven Bodovitz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steven is currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at GenEdit, where they lead strategic planning for the company's transition to a therapeutic company. Steven specializes in assessing therapeutic areas, with a focus on disorders of the nervous system. Steven also played a crucial role as the Director of Business Development and Operations at GenEdit, where they managed various functions and established strategic planning. Before joining GenEdit, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Newomics, Inc. In addition, Steven had a significant role at Aduro BioTech as the Associate Director of Market Planning, where they contributed to the initiation of a clinical trial and played a key role in the company's merger. Steven started their career at BioPerspectives as a Principal, specializing in market analysis and competitive intelligence, and later worked as a Technology Navigator at BioInsights. Steven's early experience includes working as a Senior Business Analyst at Front Line Strategic Management Consulting.

Steven Bodovitz received their BA in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego in 1990. Steven went on to obtain their PhD in Neuroscience from Northwestern University in 1996. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended San Francisco University High School.
