Wei Wang, PhD, FACMG, has extensive experience in clinical genetics and molecular genetics. Wei Wang served at GeneDx from November 2016 to June 2018, progressing through multiple roles, including Senior Molecular Genetics Review Analyst, Senior Clinical Scientist, Associate Director of Clinical Genetics, Assistant Director of Clinical Genetics, and Program Manager for the Clinical Genomics (Exome) Program Review Analysis. Prior to this, Wei Wang was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from June 2011 to November 2015, focusing on the mechanisms of Wnt5a in melanoma cell invasion. Wei Wang completed a Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Fellowship Training Program at the National Human Genome Research Institute between 2020 and 2022 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Sichuan University and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
