Winnie Wu

Winnie Wu began their professional career in 2003 as a Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at The University of British Columbia. In 2005, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at the University of Bath in addition to pursuing their DPhil in Biology. In 2010, they became an Account Manager at STARLAB UK Ltd. From 2013 to 2017, they served as an Account Manager - Molecular Solutions and Sales Specialist - Life Science at Roche. In 2017, Winnie joined GeneFirst as the Chief Operations Officer and Commercial Manager. In their role at GeneFirst, they were responsible for leading the sales and marketing functions to develop new businesses and create partnerships in the field of women's health, oncology and infectious diseases.

Winnie Wu attended The University of British Columbia from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bsc in Cell Biology and Genetics. Winnie then attended UBC Faculty of Management from 2004 to 2005, where they obtained a Minor in Commerce in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Finally, they attended University of Bath from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a DPhil in Biology.
