Stephen Mitchell

Stephen Mitchell is the current General Counsel at Genel Energy. Prior to their current position, Stephen was with Alstom Power as well as United Parcel Service, where they held various positions such as Operations Management / Business Manager and Project Engineer / Plant Engineer / Environmental Engineer. Stephen has been successful in straddling professional, customer and vendor relations in union and union free environments and has demonstrated effectiveness in developing, promoting and training supervisors and hourly employees. Stephen is also experienced in managing dispatch systems, preparing facilities and sites, overseeing construction projects, and developing budgets.

Stephen Mitchell has a Masters of Science in Management from Albertus Magnus College, a Masters Degree in Environmental Management and Policy from Rensselaer at Work, a Bachelor of Arts in Natural and Physical Sciences from Central Connecticut State University, an Associate of Science in Chemical Technology from Hartford State Technical College, and an Associate's in Science Liberal Arts and Science from Manchester Community College.
