Alison MacLeod

Alison Macleod, PhD, is a seasoned professional in oncology and commercialization strategy, currently serving as Senior Manager at Genentech since October 2019. In this role, Alison partners with senior management to guide molecule development and commercial strategy across various disease areas, including breast and gynecological cancers, lung cancer, and rare tumors. Alison has extensive experience in clinical development planning and analytics, having previously worked as a Consultant and Research Analyst at BioMedical Insights, Inc., where commercialization strategy for biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors was a focus. Additional roles include Equity Research Associate at Wedbush Securities and Consultant at SageMedic Inc., along with foundational research conducted as a Graduate Student at OHSU in oncology. Alison holds a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology, a Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate, and a BS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
