Alma Andersson

Alma Andersson is a Senior AI Scientist at Genentech since September 2022, following a tenure as a researcher and PhD student at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan from July 2016 to July 2022, specializing in computational biology within the Spatial Transcriptomics group at SciLifeLab in Stockholm. During the PhD program, Alma contributed as a research assistant in Joakim Lundeberg's group, focusing on computational method development for spatial transcriptomics, and in the Delemotte Lab, where work involved molecular dynamics and ion channel simulations. Alma holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Biotechnology in Genomics obtained from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in March 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Biotechnology earned in June 2017.
