Amy Hessler

Amy Hessler is a seasoned professional in intellectual property and legal operations, currently serving as Senior Director of IP and Legal Operations at Genentech since July 2018, where previous roles included Director of IP Operations and Senior Manager of IP Paralegals. Prior experience includes IP Operations Manager at Gilead Sciences and Director of Intellectual Property at FibroGen, Inc. Notably, at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, Amy led strategic patent portfolio analysis and competitive intelligence efforts for vaccine development. Early career roles at Novartis and Chiron Corporation involved managing international patent portfolios and supporting litigation efforts.
