Andrew Strait is a highly driven, people-centric leader with over 12 years of managerial experience. Currently serving as the Head of Validation Engineering at Genentech, they oversee equipment qualification and process validation strategies across Hillsboro Technical Operations. Prior roles include Senior Manager in Process & Compliance and various supervisory positions at Genentech, where they were accountable for manufacturing operations and compliance with industry standards. Andrew also enjoyed a successful career as a professional basketball player in Austria, competing in the top European league. They hold a degree in Biology with a focus on Human Biology from the University of Montana.
