Armen B.

Armen B. is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Principal Global Program Manager in Portfolio Strategy & Delivery at Genentech since October 2016. Previously, Armen held roles such as Director of Program Management at FibroGen, overseeing drug development from Phase 2 to Phase 3, and Associate Director of Global Resource Planning & Analysis at Codexis, where project management best practices were implemented. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Project Management at Discovery Partners International and Senior Scientist at Axys Pharmaceuticals. Armen began academic training as a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a PhD in Chemistry from UCLA along with an AB in Chemistry from Occidental College.
