Benjamin Ravetz

Benjamin Ravetz is a Principal Scientist at Genentech, where they currently apply their expertise in organic chemistry. Previously, Ravetz was a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Columbia University, focusing on iridium C-H activation and photoredox catalysis under Prof. Tomislav Rovis from 2016 to 2020. They also held the position of Graduate Student Research Assistant at Colorado State University and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boston University, where they engaged in asymmetric organocatalysis. Ravetz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University and completed two PhDs in Organic Chemistry from Colorado State University and Columbia University.
