Brian Dean

Brian Dean has over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK). Since December 2009, Brian has held multiple leadership positions at Genentech, including Executive Director and Senior Director of DMPK, where responsibilities include overseeing small molecule bioanalysis. Prior to Genentech, Brian worked at Array BioPharma from May 2005 to December 2009 as a Research Investigator and Senior Research Scientist in DMPK. Brian's career began at Merck, where from October 1992 to April 2005, various roles were held, including Senior Research Biochemist and Research Biochemist. Brian earned a BS in Biochemistry and a PhD in Toxicology from Rutgers University.
