Caleb Chan is a seasoned computational scientist with extensive experience in digital pathology and computational biology. Currently serving as a Senior Computational Scientist at Genentech since October 2021, Caleb previously contributed as a Research Scientist at the Allen Institute for Cell Science and as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Theriot Lab at Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Caleb's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Stanford University School of Medicine, where involvement also extended to the Graduate Admissions Committee. Additionally, Caleb co-founded and directed engineering endeavors at Packetel, Inc. and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
