Cameron James

Cameron James is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and health economics sectors, currently serving as the Medical Affairs Executive Director at Genentech since April 2020. Previously held the position of Health Outcomes Director at AstraZeneca, where collaborative research studies in Oncology were a focus, and contributed to the design of value-based contracts. At Sanofi, Cameron served as the Director of Health Economics and Value Assessment, fostering partnerships through research agreements and contracts. Additional experience includes roles at GSK as a Health Outcomes Liaison and leadership positions at Cigna-HealthSpring and excelleRx. Cameron holds a PhD in Pharmacoeconomics/Pharmaceutical Economics from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a Master of Science in Health Care Informatics from Lipscomb University, along with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
