Charles Yang

Charles Yang is the Executive Director and Department Head of Small Molecule Pharmaceutics at Genentech, where they oversee various technical functions related to the development of clinical formulations for chemically synthesized compounds. Previously, Charles served as a Principal Scientist at Amgen and held roles at Merck as a Research Fellow. Earlier in their career, Charles was a Director and Department Head at Genentech and contributed significantly to areas such as BioPharmaceutics and GMP Manufacturing Operations. Charles earned a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from Drexel University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
