Chen Mao

Chen Mao is a Director and Distinguished Scientist at Genentech, where they have also held the positions of Scientist, Senior Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Chen is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin. They completed a B.Eng in Bioengineering at Nanjing Tech University, followed by an M.S in Bioengineering at The University of Georgia and a Ph.D in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue University. Chen's previous experience includes positions as Senior Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute and as Staff Scientist at XenoPort.
