David Mufson

David Mufson has extensive experience in manufacturing operations and process development within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Mufson began a career at Baxter as a Senior Associate in Process Development from July 1992 to October 1997. Afterward, Mufson served as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Insite Vision from December 2006 to May 2009, overseeing contract manufacturing for topical ophthalmic solutions. At Revance Therapeutics from October 2009 to July 2013, Mufson held the position of Associate Director of Manufacturing, before working at Elan as Associate Director of Manufacturing from 1997 to 2004 and at Solstice Neurosciences, where Mufson directed manufacturing processes for the sterile injectable MYOBLOC™. Since July 2013, Mufson has been the Principal Site Manager at Genentech, managing CMO operations in the United States and Singapore. Mufson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, obtained in 1992.
