David Vershure

David Vershure is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and legal sectors. Since January 2005, David has been with Genentech, ascending from roles in legal and human resources to Vice President of Channel & Contract Management. Previous positions at Genentech include Senior Director of Channel Operations and Director of Managed Care Contracts, among others. Prior to Genentech, David served as a Director at CIENA Corporation and worked as an attorney at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison/Sheppard Mullin. David began a career in public service as a Senior Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives from 1989 to 1994. Educated at the University of California, Berkeley, David holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from Hastings.
