Dennis Brookner

Dennis Brookner, PhD, is a Protein Design Engineer at Genentech, where they develop and implement workflows for de novo protein binders. They completed their Ph.D. in May 2025 in the Harvard Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology, focusing on protein structure, dynamics, and function. Their graduate research involved utilizing various structural and biophysical techniques to analyze enzymatic cycles, resulting in multiple publications. Prior to their current role, they held research positions at Harvard University, Yale University, and Merck, gaining extensive experience in biochemistry and biophysics.
