Donna Masterman

Donna Masterman is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in neurology and medical affairs. Currently serving as Principal Medical Director at Genentech since September 2025, Masterman has held several notable positions including Vice President of Medical Affairs for Neuroscience at Prothena Corporation and various leadership roles at Biogen, including Executive Medical Director and Global Medical Head of Alzheimer's Disease. Previous experience includes senior roles at Genentech and Roche, as well as an academic position as Associate Professor and Clinical Core Director at the UCLA Alzheimer Disease Center. Masterman holds an MD and MSc in Internal Medicine and Neurology from the University of Washington.
