Edward Cha

Edward Cha is a Global Development Lead for GI Cancers & Combinations at Genentech, where they focus on cancer immunotherapy and clinical drug development. Previously, Cha completed a Clinical Fellowship in Medical Oncology and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UCSF, where they specialized in biomarkers of response to immunotherapy. They served as a Clinical Instructor of Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology at UCSF Medical Center and held various leadership positions at Genentech, driving innovative clinical trials and collaborations in solid tumor treatments. Cha earned an A.B. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and an M.D., Ph.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
