Edward Yost is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in drug product development, currently serving as Scientist 4 at Genentech since September 2008. In this role, Edward has successfully led the development of five drug candidates and facilitated the transfer of three to late-stage development at Roche-Basel. In addition to industrial expertise, Edward actively contributes to the Bay Area Discussion Group as Treasurer and Community Outreach, promoting the advancement of pharmaceutical science through seminars and networking opportunities. Previous experience includes significant contributions at Theravance, where Edward led stability programs for VIBATIV's NDA/EMA submissions, and at Elan Pharmaceuticals, focused on lyophilized peptide formulation studies. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, obtained in 2000.
