Eric Peters is a results-oriented departmental leader and serves as the Vice President of Translational Medicine - Scientific Operations, Diagnostics, and Technology Innovation at Genentech since 2023. With extensive experience in biomarker and clinical diagnostic development, Eric has guided teams to maximize impact on pipeline goals and patient outcomes. Previously, Eric held various leadership roles at Genentech from 2014 to 2017 and served as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Eric earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a BS in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University.
