Gene Wallenstein

Gene Wallenstein, Ph.D., currently serves as an Expert Scientist and Neuroimmunology Franchise Lead in Data Sciences at Genentech since October 2021. Previously, Gene held the position of Senior Director for the Inflammation/Immunology Group at Pfizer, leading global health economics and outcomes research strategies from June 2007 to May 2019. Gene also served as a Senior Principal Scientist in Neuroimmunology at Genentech from May 2019 onward. Earlier in the career at QualityMetric Incorporated, Gene was the Director of the Consulting Division, managing health outcomes and economic studies. Gene earned a Ph.D. in Complex Systems and Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University and completed postdoctoral studies in Neuroscience at Harvard University.
