Greg Richardson

Greg Richardson is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Principal Counsel and Associate General Counsel for Employment Law & Benefits at Genentech since May 2011, where responsibilities include advising global functions on U.S. employment law issues. Previously, Greg held various roles including Principal Counsel for Healthcare Law, providing guidance on healthcare compliance-related regulations. Prior to Genentech, Greg practiced at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from October 2007 to May 2011, overseeing litigation for national financial institutions and managing diverse employment cases. Greg's legal career began at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe, where case management and appellate work were key responsibilities. Earlier professional experience includes providing therapeutic services to the elderly at Washington County Mental Health Services. Greg holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University.
