Hao Li

Hao (Amy) Li is a Principal Scientist at Genentech, where they are currently part of the Assay Development and Technology team in BioAnalytical Sciences, focusing on developing bioanalytical strategies for drug development. They previously served as an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore, leading research on microbial enzymes relevant to skin disease therapeutics. Hao earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed their PhD at Stanford University, concentrating on proteases of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Earlier in their career, they held roles as a research associate and intern, and conducted undergraduate research on DNA damage response in E. coli.
