Harinder Singh

Harinder Singh is currently a Staff Scientist at Genentech and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at UCSF, positions held since 2012. Prior to these roles, Harinder was a Senior Director at Genentech from 2009 to 2011 and spent two decades at The University of Chicago as an HHMI Investigator and Louis Block Professor from 1989 to 2009. Harinder’s academic journey began with a PhD in Molecular Biology from Northwestern University, completed in 1984, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at MIT from 1984 to 1988.
