Holly Yip

Holly Yip is a Technical Development Scientist III at Genentech with over 15 years of experience in analytical development and quality control. Since joining Genentech in March 2008, Holly has focused on the developability assessment and characterization of therapeutic antibodies and protein formats, as well as the development and validation of analytical methods for their physicochemical, biochemical, and biological properties. Key contributions include establishing specifications for clinical materials and commercial products, conducting critical quality assessments, and representing analytical development in cross-functional teams for regulatory submissions. Prior to Genentech, Holly worked at PDL BioPharma as a Development Associate responsible for mAb characterization and as a Research Associate involved in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Holly holds a Master of Science in Database Administration and Systems from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Santa Clara University.
