Huma Rasool

Huma Rasool is a Senior Engineer in Quality Engineering & Validation at Genentech, where they support the start-up of a state-of-the-art cell and gene therapy manufacturing facility. Previously, Huma held various engineering roles at Genentech and Amgen, focusing on process performance qualification and downstream purification for clinical and commercial drug substances. Huma earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.S. in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University. They have received multiple awards for their contributions to process validation and microbial control in bioprocessing.
