Jean Harms has 20 years of quality and technical management experience in the biotechnology industry, currently serving as the Director of GxP Supplier Management in External Quality at Genentech since 2021. Previously, Jean held various roles at Genentech, including Senior Technical Manager and Principal Quality Engineer, and contributed to significant advancements in biologics production. At Amgen, Jean led process scale-up projects and authored critical regulatory submissions. Earlier in their career, as Production Manager at BioReliance, Jean oversaw viral vector and vaccine production and successfully managed a team of operators. Jean earned a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
