Jeff Bernhardt

Jeff Bernhardt currently serves as Senior Patent Counsel at Genentech, focusing on supporting the Pharma Technical organization and Research & Early Development in cell therapy and drug delivery technologies. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Intellectual Property at Allogene Therapeutics, where leadership involved managing patent counsel for clinical CAR T cell programs, and as Senior Director of Intellectual Property at 10X Genomics, overseeing patent prosecution for single cell analysis. Jeff Bernhardt has also held positions at Roche Molecular Systems and Arnold & Porter LLP, providing extensive patent counseling and strategic prosecution for biotechnology clients. Jeff Bernhardt earned a Doctor of Law degree from Georgetown Law.
