Jeffrey Hofmann

Jeffrey Hofmann, MD PhD, is a licensed physician in California and board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Genentech, they focus on neuropathology with a primary research interest in neurodegenerative disease and aging. Previously, they held roles as a Pathology Resident at UCSF, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, and a Neuropathology Fellow at UCSF Medical Center. Hofmann completed their MD and PhD at Brown University, where they also produced a significant educational video series for medical students.
