Jim Jia

Jim (guiquan) Jia is a Senior Principal Scientific Researcher at Genentech, where they lead efforts to identify therapeutic target candidates and biomarkers for tissue fibrosis through reverse translation approaches. With over 20 years of diverse experience in the biotech industry, Jim has contributed significantly to drug development, in vitro assay development, and biomarker discovery, utilizing a range of computational analytical skills including RNA sequencing. They previously held roles at Harvard Medical School, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and Shanghai Medical University, where they advanced numerous projects in clinical development and biomarker analysis.
