Joaquín Castañeda

Joaquín Castañeda is the Director of Local Government Affairs at Genentech, where they currently focus on government relations in the biotechnology sector. With a solid background in political communication and grassroots organizing, Joaquín previously served as a District Director for both the California State Senate and Assembly. They also held positions as a Campaign Manager and a consultant, demonstrating extensive experience in political strategy. Joaquín earned a B.A. in Government and Chicano-Latino Studies from California State University-Sacramento, where they continue their education.
