John Johnson

John Johnson has extensive experience in human resources, spanning several leadership roles in notable companies within the biotechnology and technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Human Resources at Genentech since 2010, Johnson previously held positions as Senior Director of Human Resources at nLight Photonics, and as Senior Director and Vice President of Human Resources at RealNetworks and SCP Global Technologies, respectively. Additional roles include Director of Employee Relations at MicronPC and Vice President at Melaleuca. Johnson began his career as a Personnel Specialist at Morrison Knudsen Corporation and served as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Boise State University and an Executive HR Certificate from Stanford University.
