Jonathan Hau is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in pharmaceutical formulations and small molecule pharmaceutics. Currently serving as a Scientist 4 and Senior Scientific Researcher at Genentech since November 2008, Jonathan has specialized in preclinical formulations, pH and solvent solubility assessments, and various compound analyses utilizing advanced techniques such as DSC, TGA, PXRD, and RAMAN. Prior to this role, Jonathan was a Research Associate II at Nektar Therapeutics, focusing on analytical and quality control for inhalation products, and also worked as a Staff Research Associate I at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, where Jonathan contributed to pre-formulation and physicochemical characterization of oncology compounds. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (2001-2005).
