Joseph Pease

Joseph Pease is a seasoned professional in the field of analytical research and small molecule discovery chemistry, currently serving as Senior Director at Genentech since November 2011. Previously, Joseph held the position of Senior Principal Scientific Manager at Genentech and worked as an Independent Consultant from January to November 2011. Joseph's extensive experience also includes several key roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals from February 1990 to December 2010, including Research Leader, Department Head, and Director of Research Informatics. Earlier in Joseph's career, a position as Principal Scientist was held at Syntex from 1990 to 1995. Joseph Pease earned a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis.
