Kara Gardner is a learning and development expert known for creating inspiring, memorable, and relevant programs across various fields, including biotechnology and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. They were a member of the founding team at Minerva, a university focused on applied learning, and served as Associate Dean of Partnership Teaching and Learning. As the owner of Kara Gardner, Learning Consultant LLC, they developed customized learning experiences to empower organizations and their employees. Kara is also an author and board member for the Broadway Legacies Series, having won the 2017 Kurt Weill Book Prize for their work on "Agnes de Mille: Telling Stories in Broadway Dance." They hold a Ph.D. in Music and Humanities from Stanford University and have lectured at various institutions, including Stanford University and the University of San Francisco.
