Katja Schulze is currently the Director of Oncology Biomarker Development & Medical Affairs at Genentech Inc. Previously, they held the position of US Medical Affairs Biomarker Leader at Genentech from 2016 to 2021 and served as a Medical Affairs Biomarker Leader for Lung and Skin Cancer at F. Hoffmann-La Roche from 2013 to 2016. Katja gained foundational experience as a PhD student, PostDoc, and Resident at the Institute for Animal Pathology at the University of Bern between 2006 and 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as a research assistant and clinical research associate at PPD and as a staff veterinarian at Chino Valley Equine Hospital.
