Kyle Labella

Postdoctoral Fellow

Kyle LaBella is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Genentech in the Vermeulen Lab, starting in January 2024. Previously, Kyle served as a Doctoral Student at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from September 2018 to January 2024, researching the role of chromosomal instability in colorectal cancer biology in the Depinho Lab. Prior experience includes working as a Research Technician at Harvard Medical School in the Goessling Lab, focusing on hepatobiliary organogenesis and cancer using zebrafish models from July 2016 to August 2018, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UMass Boston in the McCusker Lab, investigating PRC2 in limb bud patterning from September 2015 to July 2016. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UMass Boston (2016) and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston, expected completion in 2024.
