Lara Farhat

Lara Farhat has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Operations Process Support and Process Engineering at Genentech since October 2013. Prior roles at Genentech include Calibration Senior Supervisor and Manufacturing Technical Specialist III, where responsibilities encompassed managing quality records, supporting Health Authority inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Lara's technical expertise includes proficiency in cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and various purification methods. Earlier experience includes research roles at the University of Minnesota, focusing on neuroscience and rodent behavioral studies, as well as serving as a Supplemental Education Services Tutor for disadvantaged students. Lara holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota.
