Liang Liu

Liang Liu, MD, is a Senior Medical Director at EyeBio, a subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc., and a passionate physician-scientist dedicated to improving eye health. With a robust clinical and scientific background in Ophthalmology, Liang has honed skills in clinical research, study design, medical education, and eye surgery. They completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University from 2013 to 2021, later serving as a Lead Clinical Scientist at Genentech since 2021. Liang's early training included positions as an Ophthalmologist and Chief Resident at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, where they published extensively on genetic retinal diseases. They earned their Doctor of Medicine from Peking University Health Science Center in 2007.
