Lindsey Silva, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Microbiology Global QC Technology at Genentech, where expertise encompasses supporting high-quality needs for large molecule biologics and synthetic parenterals. Previously, Lindsey held roles as Senior Manager and Technical Development Scientist at Genentech, focusing on strategic direction and enhancing microbiology methods. Prior to Genentech, Lindsey worked as Principal Scientist in R&D Virology at Grifols, contributing to virus validation studies and regulatory submissions. Academic experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Southern California and extensive research at Harvard Medical School, obtaining a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Science.
