Luis Sosa is an experienced professional in the field of manufacturing science and technology, currently serving as the Process Engineering Director at Genentech since May 2011. Previously, Sosa held the positions of Senior Process Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer at the same company. Prior to Genentech, Sosa worked at Amgen as a Sr. Engineer in Process Development from January 2006 to May 2011, and was a Senior R&D Engineer at Guidant Puerto Rico B.V. from 2005 to 2006. Earlier in career, Sosa served as an Engineering Manager at Hewlett Packard Co. for a decade. Sosa obtained a degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, between 1988 and 1994.
