Luke Xie

Luke Xie is a Senior Principal Scientist at Genentech, where they motivate and manage a team in the MRI lab and strategize technology development across various therapeutic areas. Previously, Luke served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University Medical Center, focusing on MR imaging biomarkers, and conducted research on aquaporin water channels at the National Institutes of Health. They also held positions as a Graduate Research Intern at GE Global Research and a Research Associate at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where they established imaging tools for clinical applications. Luke earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
