Marc Wenger is currently the Global Head of Gene Therapy Purification Development at Genentech, leading advancements in bioprocess R&D with over 20 years of experience in process and analytical development. Previously, Marc held multiple roles at Merck, including Senior Principal Scientist and Group Lead for High Throughput Process Development in Vaccine Process Development. With a strong background in downstream processing and laboratory automation, Marc has managed teams for a decade, focusing on innovative approaches to vaccine development and analytical assay automation. Marc earned a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and holds both an M.S. in Chemistry from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Biology from Saint Joseph's University.
