Marika Nespi

Marika Nespi is an accomplished scientist specializing in pharmaceutics and medicinal organic chemistry, with extensive experience in formulation development and research. Currently serving as a Scientist IV at Genentech since September 2018, Marika has held multiple roles, including Senior Principal Scientific Researcher and Senior Scientific Researcher. Prior to this, Marika worked at Plexxikon Inc. for 16 years in various capacities, including Formulation Associate Scientist and Senior Chemistry Research Associate, focusing on formulation technologies and the synthesis of small molecules for oncology and inflammation. Marika’s career began at Genentech as a Research Associate III from April 2000 to October 2002. Marika holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Università degli Studi di Parma.
